Non-surgical alternatives for  canine stifle injury

Dr. Shelby Watson, DVM

Stifle issues including cranial cruciate ligament injuries are the most common musculoskeletal injuries of dogs and are costly to address surgically. The prevailing wisdom in conventional practice is that these cases are surgical until proven otherwise, but with an integrative approach we can flip the odds and treat the majority of these cases non-surgically. Through a symbiotic combination of herbs, diet, supplements, laser therapy, and PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), integrative medicine opens up the possibility and probability of a successful non-surgical outcome.
