Become a PVMA Board member

We have open PVMA Board Positions. Please email us if you are interested in participating as a Board of Directors and help continue to shape this organization from and for our local veterinarians & LVTs.  

• President-Elect:  The President-Elect shall act as Vice-President and shall take over the duties of the President in his or her absence.  He or she shall serve as an under-study to the President and shall take office of President after the annual meeting following their first term.  He or she shall be a member of the Board of Directors and attend such meetings.  The President-Elect shall also serve as program chairperson and be responsible for arranging and organizing programs at meetings or when needed.

  
  

• Treasurer:  The duties of the Treasurer shall be to collect all membership dues and fees for events, collect all correspondence from the PO Box at least monthly, pay all bills incurred against the Association, and file all required forms and returns pertaining to the finances of the corporation (including annual report filing to secretary of state). The Treasurer shall also submit a financial report at each Board of Directors meeting and a detailed statement of receipts and disbursements at the close of each year.

  
  

• Secretary: The Secretary shall attend all general and Board of Directors meetings and keep minutes of all business conducted. The Secretary shall be responsible for sending out CE invitations, creating RSVP lists, managing the email account and all related correspondence, and providing CE certificates
